About Gevoelig Kunst

My story

As soon as I could hold a pencil I was drawing. My mom always says when I was still a toddler instead of doing big scribbles like most kids I was hunched over my paper trying teeny tiny intricate designs. Drawing had been a hobby for me for a majority of my life. In 2016-17, in high school, I started to take my art more seriously. I tried writing a comic on linewebtoon and wanted to get into commission art. During 2019 and the covid-19 pandemic I perfected my art style and began having more consistent art.  I realized if I was going to try and make a career out of this I needed a name and to make a decision if I wanted my face to be out there. I deleted all my photos of myself from my art accounts and decided to become faceless online. Since i’m half dutch and canadian I decided upon Gevoelig Kunst Par moi. “Gevoelig Kunst” translating to “sensitive art” in dutch (or “gruesome art” in german) and “par moi “translating to “by me” in french. I felt it pretty fitting as my art is sensitive to me, but I can see how others would interpret some as gruesome as I enjoy drawing NSFW themes like gore, sex, drug use, and decomposition. I don’t draw those themes as much anymore, but instead I focus on making sure to provide diversity in my art with all sorts of races, religious inspirations, and a wide range of body types. In 2024 I started doing art for indie authors and now doing book art is one of my favourite things to draw. When I’m not drawing digitally I’m making Acrylic paintings, art prints, or stickers (all of which you can find in my shop).

Current Life updates

Feb 28th, 2026

For the last few months my commissions have been have been a lot as i worked hard to save money to get my cat surgery. I’ve gotten help from tons of people ordering commissions and other art from me, due to this i can now afford surgery and its scheduled for Wednesday March 4th (which is also the day after the same cats adoption day/birthday) So i’ll be getting her lots of treats. My commissions are Closed until further notice so that I have time to catch up on all the unfinished commissions. Im really thankful to have such a supportive community. The book girlies really pulled through on this one and i couldn’t be happier. I’ll post updates here and my instagram as Jaycee heals from surgery.
